Pre-launch notice · Last updated July 13, 2026

This notice describes the public LinkElm website and the information used for BearCat purchase, delivery, recovery, and support.

Information you provide

The launch-list form may collect your email address, desired branch, optional project link, and notification preference. The contact form collects your name, email address, subject, and message. BearCat fulfillment uses the purchaser's name, email, LinkElm order number, and any installation code the buyer attaches.

Technical information

LinkElm records limited technical information needed for security and operation, including IP address, browser user agent, session data, and anti-abuse verification results.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to messages, send the updates you requested, understand interest in LinkElm, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate the website.

Service providers

LinkElm uses hosting, database, email-delivery, and anti-abuse providers to operate the site. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on public forms. These providers process information as necessary to deliver their services.

Payments and fulfillment

Stripe processes BearCat payments. LinkElm does not store complete card numbers or CVCs. LinkElm retains order, payment-status, fulfillment, installation-code, download-access, refund, and support records needed to deliver and recover purchases, prevent abuse, reconcile Stripe activity, and meet legal obligations.
